Arguably the main theory as to why UFOs are here and among us is the Extra-Terrestrial Hypothesis. This says that UFOs are from other planets. For quite a few reasons to do with UFO-like manifestations throughout recorded history and the behaviour and biological structure of the described creatures associated with the now culturally familiar Close Encounter, I believe that the entities and possible machines linked to this phenomenon are part of our existence, but not necessarily of this world. The explanation that makes sense to me is that of the Extra-dimensional Hypothesis, or EDH. This puts forward the idea that the presences in UFO experiences come from what is best described as a parallel universe and that they have been interacting with mankind throughout our time on Earth.
